I have thin hair that every time I style(straighten or blow dry) looks ugly (frizzy/poofy/messy) in1

I have thin ,naturally frizzy hair. It's in an o.k. shape now that I am using my Brilliant Brunettes shampoo and conditioner. I blow dry or straighten my hair in the morning (8am) and by the time school starts again its frizzy, wavy, and plain ugly. When i put hair spray or a little bit of gel it looks oily and gross. I need tips to help my hair stay nice throughout the day without it sticking to my face or looking oily. I have been thinking about buying the Chi Straightener does it work well? Will it help keep in the desired straightness? My friend has it and her hair looks great. I just want something that works for my hair! Please anwser Thanks!

You are probably going to think that I am crazy but I use a product for black hair thats called Soft and Beautiful Extend a Perm Thermal Straightening Kit. Its a kit that has shampoo, conditioner and a straightening serum in it (Sallys for about $7). My hair straightens alot easier and doesnt get frizzy or wavy all day. Try it, it really helps my hair in general too.

I LOVE MY CHI I don't go one day without using it. For styling tips go to www.thehairstyler.com I have wavy hair too. I use wash my hair and blow dry it then use a gel that will help straighten it then use some moose for volume. I use a chi spray to help lock in moisture then LIGHTLY hair spray it. It stays all day.

Try some Herbal Essence mousse, and apply it to wet hair. Finger it through from roots to ends, but don't put too much on the roots.
