so yea.. i have thin... fine.. flat... straight.. hair... and im running out of ideas... everyday.. its down, sometimes i part it a little off to the side, i have my hair slightely layered, and my bangs layered starting at the tops of my cheeks..

and i want something to do with my hair, i have absolutely no money right now, so a new cut is out of the question,

i have a hair straightener, a blowdryer, curling iron, 1 inch and 1/2 inch, and hair spray... and gel...

i need to find a styler using that.. i have hairties obviously.. but.. idk wat i should do.. i have a roundish face to.. so that kinda makes a difference.. and idk

Try some the new Herbal Essences Shampoos...They really work great. They have one for body and lift...and it's only a few bucks.

My sister has thin hair and always blow drys her hair upside down. From the underneath. It gives her more body. She has also used curlers on her hair but only underneath. So when she takes them out the curls push her hair up and out. She looks really cute :) hope this helps. Hair is such a pain :)

Consider going to your stylist and getting frontal extensions. YOU WILL LOVE THEM! It adds thickness and volume to your hair, not length. It's kind of pricey, but well worth it.

Also, try curling it with your larger curling iron. That will look way cute! Then brush the curls out for loose waves.

Wear it up - french twist with teased top....Phebee on Friends wore it like this a couple of times.

Also wear it half up (not like on top with barrette) but start at the top of your ears, pull straight back and secure with clip. Pull down wispys in front for softness.

Throw some mousse in your hair after the shower and blow dry. Put some curls in it...go crazy with the curls too, lots of them and ticghtly wound...and if your hair is a fine and thin as mine it will look killer in 20 mins because it will mellow out a little.

Blow dry your hair with your head upside down too. It gets tiring so let it air dry a little then throw in some mousse and hang your head down and dry it that way. It will add a little volume so your hair dowsn't lay flat on your head.

Ok. For flat thin hair, layers work best, it takes out a lot of weight that would normally weigh your hair down. If you cant afford a haircut than i suggest blow drying your hair with your head upside down when its wet. Use product such as a volumizer (mouse, gel, whatever). I tease my hair if its a little flat. (but thats bad for your hair) Also you can invest in velcro rollers, their quick and cheap. Let me know if you need help with those.

Fine Hair has the appearance of softness, which can be very feminine and appealing. However, if you want it to look thicker, you should have it layered slightly. A soft body wave adds fullness and hair coloring can also give more body and make it look thicker.

Watch "Law and Order". Look for an episode with Carey Lowell (who just happens to be Richard Gere's wife and a former Bond girl). She has fine straight hair. Wear your hair short in a "boy cut". With that hair you probably have fine features so the hair off your face will look great. Don't FIGHT your hair, find out how it looks best - and the short "little boy cut" would look great - and any competent stylist can do it for like $18.

Get some mouse put in in you hair after you wash it blow dry your hair upside down rubbing your hands on your scalp that makes the scalp dry faster and gives more lift.You dont have to blow dry the rest as much you can let that dry on its own.After your hair is dry with mouse and everything done.Curl it not large sections either small sections .when your done spray your hair underneath first with a little hairspray and than the rest.

i have the exact same problem and hair cut. i blow my hair with my head upside down and while its wet i put mousse in it. I've tried to curl it but with my hair it doesn't work very well.
