I just read some advice from another question and someone said white hair can be straightend by black people perm... I have white/hispanic hair, it's long, wavy, and kinda frizzy...I usally use a lot of different stuff in my hair like a little baby oil,gel,straightning cream, hair spray, ect. It won't get sraight for nothing!! White hair products just Don't work for me... I've even had to iron my hair stright before (and that didn't even work that well).I've tried a lot of advice from other people, but it Never works! But, will a Perm make my hair extremly dry and damaged?

I want smooth-relaxed hair, but don't have hundreds of dollor$ to spend on it.. I love my hair to death (that's funny) but I really do! I've even thought about cutting it off cause it gets so frusterating and I don't have all my time to spend styling it either, but I'm so attached to having Long hair. So I want to keep it long and like my hair at the same time..

I am africian-american and a hair stylist, yes you can use relaxer on your hair. I would recommend you see a professional for the service. Depending on where you live this service should cost you only 50 to 100 dollars. Any thing more than that their robbing you. Make sure you let them know you want a relaxer and not just straightning with a perm. There is a difference.

sure you could use the lowest strength box relaxer. before you do this, consult with a beautician, preferably one who makes their living styling african-american hair.

no some of these products can be highly damaging i would rcomend a standerd perm for course hair. apply to the hair and keep combing through the hair with a not metalic comb and then nutrilise following the times on the manufacturers instruction.

the name "black person perm" is self explanatory it is intended for a certain grade of hair trust me if you love your hair dont use it.

sweety go to a store and get a childs reg box perm... the one i recommend is dark and lovelys child perm.... it will not hurt your hair nor dry it out... you might need two boxes if your hair is really long.....
