What can I do with my hair after swimming??

We're swimming in gym for 6 weeks, we get 10 minuets afterwards to shower, dry off, get dressed, do makeup and our hair. So far I haven't even had time to put on my eye liner! What can I do with my hair? I hate putting it in a ponytail and I can't scrunch it with gel/hair spray my hair just frizzes and poofs. Help please?

I know exactly what you mean I have the worst hair in the world trust me and when i go swimming it also gets puffy, frizzy, and curlyish. But I no longer have that problem thanks to these first, use Matrix Shampoo and Conditionor, then towel dry hair REALLY well while your getting ready. Next when your hair is NOT dripping wet add a anti-frizz gel (any brand will work). Last put it in a low pony tail (NOT TIGHT)(VERY LOOSE) untill it drys when you take it out it should be perfect or as close perfect as possible!!!!

Hope I helped!

rinse it out in the sink to get the chlorine out and then brush it. that should work the best

i had the same problem with my long hair. what you should do is put a little lemon juice in your hair before you swim, and it will not absorb as much water. hair spray also works, but i have never tried it.

hope this helps!

There's not really much you can do with 10 minutes to get ready. Try parting your hair down the middle after running a brush through it a few times until the knicks are out. Try braided pigtails. The braids won't frizz, so you should be okay.

Well if you buy a really good mousse and hairspray it shouldn't frizz...but as far as other options how bout this:

Put it up in a messy bun.

Put no frizz serum in it and "embrace your curls"!

Put it half up, and maybe leave some pieces out in the front.

Braid it - or get it braided.

Those are only a few suggestions...i cant really think of much more!!

Hope that helps at least a little! Good luck!

Towel "blot" your hair well, then while you're getting dressed %26amp; applying makeup, scrunch your hair gently without adding gel/spray. Try Pantene's spray in/leave in detangler/conditioner in your hair right after towel blotting your hair. Using a wide toothed comb, comb the conditioner through to the ends. (twice) Scrunch your hair very gently from time to time. It shouldn't poof or frizz!!!

While showering be sure and shampoo your hair to clean the chlorine out. Let it dry naturally and as it dries, "finger comb" and fluff it, and even occasionally shake your head to let your hair fall into its own natural state, This creates natural volume and fullness to your hair with out using sprays and gels. They do have a tendency to make your hair frizzy, especially if your hair is fine.

i was in the swim team in high school for four years and girl... i know how you feel. Well, you can braid your hair so that way when you get out of the pool, it will be easier to manage. you can rinse it out. I knew how to braid my own hair so it was easier for me, if not, you should practice...can you wear a cap? that kept my hair pretty tighty. i have curly hair and you can only imagine the mess i had to deal with.

if you don't like ponytails, then you will need to learn how to do your hair in 10 minutes...practice at home...or try to find a really good gel....
