I want to curl my hair, but....?

My hair is super straight and is shoulder length. I have a curling iron, but it takes like two hours and wayyy to much hair spray to make it stay. Is there any way that I can get curls overnight? I want tight ringlets that last pretty long without using too many products.

I also have straight hair and it is a pain when I want to curl it. Here are some methouds to use when you don't feel like using a curling iron.

but if you want to keep it in place I would use hair spray or a spray like from Garnier fructise to hold it. Also, to keep your bangs back clip them with hair clips

braid your hair over night... then wake up and take them off......

For the curls i suggest that you either use hot curls in the morning with curling mousse or you put regular curlers in wet hair before you go to bed =) You could also try a perm. For your bans i would say just to clip them back with little hair clips. I used that hairstyle all school year VERY CUTE! hope this helps =)

I can't help with the curls, but as for the bangs: try using a clip or bobby bins to secure your bangs on the top of your head. Experiment with how far back to put the clips to see what looks best. You could also try using headbands, they're in right now!

1. get a curly perm it will take a long time but it will last way longer

2. wear those elastic hairbands and get them in a lot of different colors to go with your outfits

bangs = mine are at exactly the same stage, i just use bobby pins (smallish black/brown slides that you push into your hair) to clip the hair back to the side/top of my head and it looks much better.

curls = i have this problem too! though my hair is a bit longer, however, my friend has shoulder length hair and it curls really nicely, so i guess its just the type of hair you have that affects how it curls. i used to try using curling irons but after a while found that my GHDs did a massively better job use my twisting the hair around whilst 'straightening' but this doesnt always work depending on your hair type. if your going to try doing this, get a piece of hair from the top of one side of your head in your hand, clutch it with the straightners close to the head with your other hand, then let og of the hair with the first hand (sorry if this is confusing) and use that same hand to hold the very tip of the straightners (careful not to burn yourself) then drag the straightners down the length of hair as if straightening, but twist it with both your hands at the same time. when you reach the bottom of the strand of hair, just let it go, and twist the hair round in the direction that you were curling it to make it a bit curlier (this can make all the difference) then spray underneath and on top of the curled piece of hair with hairspray. when finished with the whole head, lightly spray everywhere with hair spray. im so sorry this is so long haha and you probably already knew how to do it anyways.. i must be bored :) good luck!

why dont you use hair rollers..you can get them from beauty supplies stores or even walmart after you curl your hair up over night, spray some oil sheen in your hair that night and in the morning...

-im not sure if you can wake up and your hair willlook like that. but you could take a shower, while you hair is still damp (not soaking wet) braid it into 2 briads. and go to sleep in the morning it should be nice and wavy.

-bangs, just put them in a pooof on the top of your head. im sure you can get pictures of poofs on celebrities on the internet or in magazines.
