K, well I am in 7th grade, and ever since 3rd, I have worn up my hair, but my mom has completely lost it, and she is going to make me wear my hair down tomorrow. I dont want to, but I have to. I dont care about my mom in this situation, but my question is how do I keep it from going EVERYWHERE? Does hair spray work? I dont know. I dont want to. The main reason I am willing at the second is I want to see the reaction. I mainly want to see the reaction from my crush. OMG what do I do?!?!?!

Umm... is your hair unnaturally frizzy or something? As long as it's washed, you shouldn't really need to do anything else to it, except ya know, brush it and maybe part it.... it'll look fine, you're a girl, you'll figure it out. And if your mom is so gung ho about you wearing your hair down, have her fix it.

don't worry. put a little moose in it blowdry it with a part on the side!! and yes hairspray works it works wonders!! Good luck and you'll be fine just have confidence!

usually hair doesn't fly around that much when it's down. If you're worried about it getting in your face try holding back the sides with a clip or a barette or something, or you could wear a headband. If you are really determined just take a hair elastic with you and put your hair in a low ponytail when you get to school.

If your hair is frizzy and going everywhere, there are actually hairsprays that help keep it down. Don't overwhelm it though, because hair sprays tend to smell chemical-ish. Also another thing that I do is take a shower in the morning before I go to school, and use the blow-dryer to smooth it straight down. A new change in hairstyle may get your crush to notice you :]

i used to be just like you.. i used to wear my hair slicked back from 4th grade to 6th grade until my mom took me to the beauty shop and cut it so i couldn't put it up anymore and everyone loved it! just curl your hair under or spiral it so that it looks full. i dont use hairspray and my hair stays fine and it looks way more natural. good luck!

first u need to find out if your crush even knows u exist go ahead wear it down but if he doesn't notice it's no use 4 the crush part. But u never know you might like it down. I WOULD NOT USE HAIRSPRAY, i wouldn't use it because it makes your hair too dry. you might fell weird with your hair down because u normally wear it up
